Get a detailed insight into how Nestlé is working with the standardization of interfaces between MES and mechanical equipment – OMAC.
Nestlé will be represented by Dr. Bryan Griffen, Engineering and Automation Group Manager with the Nestlé Product Technology Center Orbe. Dr. Bryan Griffen is Chairman OMAC Packaging Workgroup.
Join the discussion on cooperation to promote the use of OMAC production IT standards.
Get information from Nestlé about the short-term and long-term benefits of using standardized interfaces.

Hear about the interaction with machine builders and what the challenges are using the standard.
The seminar will focus on how Nestlé have improve production flexibility, throughput times and increase the capacity of mechanical equipment, while reducing the costs of integration.
The seminar will also focus on Danish companies benefits and challenges by using OMAC standards.
Hear about Danish end users experience with the OMAC standards. What is their interest to follow the standard? What has been their biggest challenges? How do they work with dynamic standards? How do end users involve automation suppliers and their knowledge about the standards? What about education and training internally and externally?
OMAC: Reduce time and costs for the integration of mechanical equipment with guidelines from OMAC.
According to OMAC provides a standardized interface that reducing start-up time, delivery time, changeover times and improving throughput, capacity and MTBF with up to 50%.
Come and hear OMAC executive committee on the development and implementation of OMAC guidelines .
OMAC will come up with a set of instructions to ensure easy integration horizontally (process to packaging) and vertically (packing for ERP) – get information about the new working groups and their objectives.
With this seminar, we believe that we can start a dialogue about standardizing the interface to the machine equipment, and we can influence and participate in the standardization work within OMAC.
